Returning Student Registration

Check in a returning student for the 2018-19 school year using the email instructions sent to families August 1, 2018. **If you didn't receive an email, we may not have a current email on file. Contact your school's main office to update or change your email.**

New Students

In most cases, students attend the schools that are closest to them. Visit our school boundaries page on the district website to see which school attendance area you live in. 


If you live outside of our district boundaries or if you live in the district and want to attend a different school, please read more about requesting a transfer.

How to Register

Central Kitsap Schools now offers online registration! Our online form provides step-by-step instructions and the ability to save your progress and return when you are ready! If you have questions, please contact your school's main office.

Step One: Gather Necessary Documents

When you enroll, you’ll need to bring:

Proof of Legal Name

This could be a birth certificate (you must have birth certificates for children entering kindergarten), military ID, driver’s license, passport, state-issued ID or adoption decree.

Verification of Address

Bring proof of the address where your child spends a majority of school nights. We may ask to see a current utility bill, military base housing assignment documents, or a current rental agreement. Please note that we do not accept driver’s licenses, checkbooks or postmarked mail as proof of residence.

Immunization Record

Bring a Certificate of immunization status form, which may be available as a printout from your health care provider You may also fill out the form yourself (you can find a link to download the form in Step 2). If your child is in grades 6-12 and you’re transferring from another school, you’ll also need your withdrawal grades and transcript.

Parents or legal guardians must bring address verification and identification documents and any completed forms to school. Check the school website calendars for registration and welcome back events.

Step Four: Get to School

If you live more than a mile from school, your child can ride a bus. If you’re new to the school, please register your child to ride by calling 360-662-8800.
