CKSD Librarians
The mission of the library program is to ensure that students (and staff)are effective users and producers of ideas and information.

The Woodlands Library is staffed by a certificated teacher-librarian, Ms. Roberts, and a library clerk, Mrs. Smalley. Our hours are daily during the school year.

We welcome adult and students volunteers in the library. Please contact us to arrange a time to come in and begin working with us.

Summer Fun @ the Woodlands Library...

 Ms. Roberts & Mrs. Waymire will have the library open again for you and your family on Wednesdays this summer. Beginning on Wednesday July 5 and continuing through Wednesday August 9, we will be open 12:30pm-2:30pm. Enter via the back library door.

Come for a few minutes or come for the entire time!

There will be a free meal Monday-Thursday @ 12:30pm from July 17-Aug. 17.

FIRST log in using your student username and password (the same ones you use at school) then you'll have access to:

  • Online access to the complete Encyclopedia Britannica (elementary, middle, and high school levels)
  • Online access to the EBSCO suite of research tools
  • Online access to Culture Grams
  • At-home access to Destiny Quest and the library catalog (including eBooks)

Book Donation Program

Donate in honor of your child's birthday!

The Woodlands Library Book Donation Program is a wonderful way to commemorate a birthday, accomplishment, or other special milestone.

For a minimal donation of $10, your child's birthday or other special event will be noted on a full color bookplate inside a brand new hardback book. Go to our Special Book Club page for more information.
