Love and Logic

Love and Logic was created in 1977 by Jim Fay and Foster Cline, MD. These wise men created a philosophy that is now used by parents and teachers worldwide. The major points of Love and Logic are that, "Children learn the best lessons when they're given a task and allowed to make their own choices (and fail) when the cost of failure is still small. Children's failures must be coupled with love and empathy from their parents and teachers." Download free video and audio clips from loveandlogic.com to help you use and understand Love and Logic.

Love and Logic is also the most fun you'll ever have parenting or teaching! Even if you don't think the techniques will work for you, the messages are delivered with such fun that you'll enjoy listening to them and laughing at the impossible situations and successes.  Trust us, you'll be glad you listened and will probably find that, if you try them, the techniques will be helpful with your children, students, or others.

Love and Logic materials, books, DVDs, CDs, etc. are available for parent checkout in the Woodlands Library.
