Some of these will be much easier to access if you go through ClassLink. When you do so, remember that you'll log in with your network username and password.
With Culture Grams, you can learn about states and countries. There is a kids' edition too that will be useful for younger children. The maps are excellent in this resource.
You can research topics of interest in the Britannica Online Encyclopedia. The online edition is identical to the print edition.
The following resources take you out onto the open web. Remember to use your common sense and internet safety. You should always have your parents' permission before using online resources and you should never share private or personal information with others on the web.
You may use Kitsap Regional Library from home or school. If you have a Kitsap Regional Library card, you can even reserve and hold books from their on-line catalog. This is an excellent way to get books that are not in our collection. They have many of the contest books available and often have more than one copy!
KidsClick! is an awesome research tool. It was organized by librarians for kids and makes a lot of sense. You'll learn neat things when you use this site for searching.
