Principal Message

Amy Archuleta

Welcome to Woodlands! We are very excited to begin the 2019/2020 school year. Our staff have recently completed a successful year and will soon be working hard to prepare for the new year and cannot wait to get started.

This year we will continue to emphasize three important school rules: Be Responsible, Be Respectful, Be Safe. Our staff’s dedication to Positive Behavior Supports is stronger than ever. Thank you in advance for supporting this work with your children. Ask them about our Wildcat tickets and Wildcat pledge. As always, our students' physical and emotional safety and security are our top priority.

Three years in a row, in 2016, 2017 and 2018, our school received the School of Distinction award for being in the top 5% of schools in Washington State in the area of improving ELA and Math student achievement. We are proud of these honors and continue to work to provide the highest level of learning for all students.

At Woodlands we want to partner with our families in order to assure student success. We hope that you will share your child’s strengths and challenges with us so we can best meet their needs. We strive to offer you many opportunities to come to school and learn more about what your child is doing and how we can best work with you to help them be successful.

Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns. Again, welcome to the 2019/2020 school year!
